Philip Pelusi

All you know about my California trip is what a nightmare it was getting home. What I failed to mention was how success the actual experience was. As a matter-of-fact one of my last days off was there. I had a GREAT day in wine country. Remembering the trip reminds me of my day off. (Note to self - take another day off within this quarter…) But that is beside the point. On my agenda was to visit some of the high end boutiques and salons in the greater LA area.

One such place is a boutique called Planet Blue in Malibu. PR.com describes Planet Blue as “one of the most popular boutiques in town and is broken up into two stores: clothing and accessories, and beauty supplies and accessories. Looking for the best skin and hair treatments on the market? You will find them here!” This place was amazing. They definitely have the products to pamper the body.

Despite my general philosophy not to have my products carried in “stores”, I was excited about the concept of the Philip Pelusi line being carried in such a high end store. If my line is to be carried in a place other than a salon, where the stylists have been educated about the founation of my products, this is the place. Well, we struck a deal.

They love the Philip Pelusi line and also agreed that it was a good fit for their boutique. Sales are going well out there but that is not the cool thing. I was informed earlier this week that one such customer was Suzanne Sommers! Even though we are very excited to have her using our products, we do not have plans to do any infomercials in the near future.
